
Romania finished the European Junior Swimming Championships with six medals after Daria Silistianu and Vlad Stancu topped the podium on the final day of competition in Belgrade.
Daria Silishtianu, silver in 100 m backstroke / Vlad Stanku, bronze in 400 m freestyle
In the 100 m backstroke, Daria Silishtianu won the silver medal (1:01.24), and Aysia Prisekariou took 5th place (1:01.55).
Gold went to Hungarian Lori Fani Komorocha (1:01.10).
Vlad Stanka won the bronze medal in the 400 m freestyle (3:50.21), and Nandor Nagy took 8th place (3:57.33).
The Bulgarian Petar Mitsin won the final (3:44.31, a new world record among juniors).

- 100 m freestyle: Patrick Dinou, 5th place (49.83)
- 4×100 medley: Daria Silistianu, Eva Paraskiv, Brigitta Wass and Rebecca Diaconescu, 6th place (4:08.68 – senior national record).
