
It’s time for a change for the Volkswagen T-Cross. The smallest SUV in the lineup gets a restyling with changes that focus mainly on the exterior.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but it shouldn’t be too far from the €25,490 asked for the base version currently available. The restyled version will hit our roads in early 2024.
Volkswagen T-Cross (2023): design
If at first glance the new features may not seem like much, in fact T-Cross has changed more than you think. Since it is not usual for restyling, the dimensions have evolved. Restyled T-Cross has dimensions The length is 4.14 meters, i.e. 2.7 cm more than the previous model. At the front, you can see a new grille and a new bumper.
Innovations are also important in the rear, where the optics have a new light signature. We should also note the chrome insert in the lower part or three new models of light alloy wheels. In addition, the color chart has been expanded with the introduction of “Grape Yellow”, “Clear Blue Metallic” and “Kings Red Metallic” shades.

The changes continue in the passenger compartment, with an even more refined dashboard with new materials and light padding that is more pleasant to the touch.
The base trim is equipped with an 8-inch screen, while the Style and R-Line trims have a large 10-inch screen. In both cases we find an updated infotainment systemand in the center of the cabin are new backlit touch controls for climate control.
The T-Cross retains its practical aspects, with a cargo capacity of between 385 and 455 liters and the possibility of shifting the rear seat by 14 cm.
Volkswagen T-Cross (2023): engines
As for engines, the T-Cross is offered in three gasoline versions. The first two are equipped with a 1.0 liter TSI engine 95 and 116 hpwhile the top model, meanwhile, gets a 1.5-liter four-cylinder TSI from 150 hp equipped with an active cylinder control system.
The more powerful engine comes standard with a seven-speed DSG gearbox, while an automatic transmission is an option for the 1.0-litre TSI with 116bhp. Finally, the 1.0-liter TSI with a capacity of 95 hp. associated only with a six-speed manual transmission.
