A 36-year-old man was taken to hospital on Tuesday evening after a 54-year-old man stabbed him in the neck following a conflict that took place on a terrace in the Calea Lugojului area of ​​Timisoara. The police took the aggressor to the hearing, News.ro reports.

“Today, around 19:30, the police of the 1st branch of Timisoara were informed that a spontaneous conflict between two men took place on the terrace of a restaurant at the intersection of Renaşterii and Lugojuliu streets, as a result of which a 35-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by another 54-year-old per year from an airsoft gun,” IPJ Timiş reports.

The victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, and the 54-year-old man was taken to the headquarters of the 1st city district of Timisoara for questioning.

The police have opened criminal proceedings on the fact of beating or other violence and violation of public order.

The case comes just days after a 38-year-old man killed two elderly people in Timisoara and seriously injured their grandson with a knife.

The 38-year-old man was arrested on Thursday evening outside the North Railway Station in Timişoara, and Timișoara court judges ordered a 30-day remand.
