
Renowned German tuner Manhart Performance unveils its latest creation: the Manhart SL 700 Rbased on the latest generation Mercedes-AMG SL 63 (Type R232).
On the mechanical side, Manhart engineers didn’t do things by halves with inflation 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 signed AMG to achieve 707 horsepower and 935 Nm of torquean increase of 122 horsepower over the original 585 horsepower and an additional 135 Nm over the original 800 Nm of torque!
Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Manhart: poor preparation
To achieve this impressive specification, Manhart added an intercooler, a special air filter to the German sports convertible, electrical housing christened the Manhart MHtronik Powerbox, a 600-element sports catalytic converter, and also removed the particulate filter.
Suspension and brakes are standard, but Manhart says customers who want more performance at this level can upgrade their braking and suspension systems to order. The same applies to the interior, where the already sporty atmosphere of the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 has not changed.
Aesthetically we find a black livery contrasting with gold elementswhich can be found, for example, on the radiator grille, front bumper accents, rim contours, badges, mirror housings, rear bumper or even on the underbody, hood and trunk decals, as well as the matching sun visor strip.

The set is supplemented with a set of four pieces forged discs ForgedLine 22 inchespainted in matte black and shod with Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2 tires measuring 295/30 ZR22 at the front and 335/25 ZR22 at the rear.
Manhart clarifies that its SL 700 R preparation for the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 will be sold in limited edition of only 10 copies.
Speaking of prices, you’ll need to shell out €5,939 for the MHtronik Powerbox, €10,699 for a set of 4 forged discs, €6,999 for a catalytic converter with particulate filter removal, or €1,099 for a set of stickers.
