CFR Cluj parted ways with Dan Petrescu at the end of the recently concluded season, leaving the multiple Romanian champions without several players. Less than two weeks after the start of the new season, Transylvania are close to completing the transfer of the Romanian player.
Vasile Mogosh, close to signing with CFR Cluj
CFR Cluj has been without several players this summer after a modest season that saw the team finish in 3rd place.
Transylvania drew with FC Craiova 1948 to advance to the second preliminary round of the UEFA Conference League, but that didn’t convince Dan Petrescu to stay on the bench.
Cluj is currently trying to strengthen its squad for the next season of the Romanian Super League and, according to Fanatik, has agreed with Crotone on the transfer of Vasile Mogosha.
According to Transfermarkt, Vasile Mogos has already agreed to sign a contract with the team from Gruja, who have offered a 3-year contract.
Mogos still has a contract with Crotone until the summer of 2024 and has 3 caps for the Romanian national team.
Vasile Mogosh played 46 matches in the Crotone shirt.
