Max Verstappen won the Austrian Grand Prix – Lecrec and Perez completed the podium

After another start from pole position, Verstappen took his seventh win of the season in Austria and took his total race wins to 42, surpassing Ayrton Senna’s record.

With a time of 1:25:33 for 71 laps (306.5 km), the Dutchman was followed by Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and Sergio Perez (RedBull), his team-mate who started the race in 15th place.

Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell finished only 7th and 8th.

The race was not without incident, with Yuki Tsundoa (AlphaTauri) suffering a problem on lap two that required Saftey Car intervention, and Nico Hulkenberg (Haas) retiring on lap 13.
