High prices
This is the Kia EV9, a large electric SUV that will also be positioned above the EV6 in the lineup. If the latter is not yet available in Europe, the manufacturer has just announced the prices of the new product. And, surprisingly, they are quite salty. Indeed, the starting version of the Earth Launch Edition requires at least 64,990 euros. At that price, you’ll be entitled to a 150kW electric motor as well as a large 99.8kWh battery. A slightly higher class option will also be offered, from 80,423 euros. Called the GT Line Launch Editions, this one will come with a 283 kW engine.
Six or seven seats
Please note that these prices apply version with seven seats. In order to be entitled to only six seats, you will need to specify the €600 option when ordering. It will also be possible to choose individual seats at a price of 900 euros. We don’t know the full range yet, but it should happen soon. Note that these prices are for the Belgian market, but they still give us a small idea of what to expect when the SUV is available here.
