Kamil Majhrzak is disqualified for 13 months for doping

Kamil Maiczrzak (27 years old) was temporarily suspended at the end of November last year after failing an anti-doping test at tournaments in Sofia (September 2022), Japan and Seoul (October 2022), News.ro reports.

Three banned substances (SARM S-22, LGD-4033 and PPARδ agonists) were found in the samples taken from the Polish player.

Majczrzak (ATP No. 218), who won the Challenger Tour event in Busan, South Korea, in October 2022 and reached the semi-finals of the ATP 250 event in Pune, India, in early 2022, accepted the suspension.

“At the end of 2022, I lost everything in an instant. Since childhood, I have trained hard to achieve my dream. Tennis is not only my job, but, above all, it is my whole life,” wrote Kamil Maiczrzak on Instagram.

Taking into account the time of Maiczak’s suspension until sentencing, the International Tennis Integrity Agency announced that the Polish player’s suspension will end on December 29, 2023.
