Elbot took two hours to overcome the home favorite, 3-6, 7-6(2), 6-2.
At the end of the game, Rada was greeted by his little girl, and pictures of the two went viral on Twitter.
Radu’s daughter is a star of the All England Club: she starred with Stefanos Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev and Roger Federer.
Radu Albot, who is ranked 106th in the ATP ranking, will fight for a place in the main draw of Wimbledon with the Brazilian Felipe Melgeni Alves (134 ATP).
