Individuals have oversubscribed Hidroelektrica’s offer for listing on the stock exchange in 2 times, reaching 2.62 billion lei. So, the IPO is a success.

Whether the proposal will be supplemented, as assured by the president of the “Hydroelectricity” directorate, Bohdan Badya, remains to be seen. He said for 15% retail, it could increase by another 5% if interest rates are high.

Today is the last day to take advantage of the 3% discount.

Also, many are wondering if the sale will close early or continue until July 4th.

If it is signed, a proportional distribution system is used. Individuals will receive a number of shares equal to the number of subscribed shares multiplied by the allocation index.

As recently explained by Tradeville, if the offer exceeds the subscription by 2 times and the order placed by the company is worth 5,600 lei (for 50 shares), the shares are worth 2,800 lei (25 shares) and the difference between the amount paid for the subscribed Offered Shares and the value of the allocated Offered shares will be returned to your account.

So, if you only subscribed to 50 shares and want to get that number, you will have to subscribe for 11,200 lei. I mean again.

We remind you that the subscription started from Friday – June 23 and continues until July 4 until 12:00.

For individuals, the price is 112 lei/share. You can subscribe for at least 50 shares, i.e. for the amount of 5,600 lei (this is the minimum subscription).

Individuals are also entitled to a 3% discount on orders placed within the first five business days. Thursday is the last day to take advantage of the discount.

The tranche assigned to individuals is 11,701,067 shares (which is 15% of the number of Offered shares). In value terms: more than 1.3 billion lei.

The offer includes an offer to sell Fondul Proprietatea up to 78,007,110 shares, i.e. 17.34%.

If you wish to subscribe, you should be aware that Hidroelectrica intends to distribute as ordinary dividends at least 90% of its annual net profit starting from the financial year immediately following the Offer.
