AC Milan unveiled goalkeeper Marco Sportiello on Wednesday after announcing that Cipriano Tetarušanu will not continue at the San Siro from next season.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper was transferred to Milan on a free contract after parting with Atalanta.

The goalkeeper, who is valued at €1.5 million according to Transfermarkt, will act as backup to French goalkeeper Mike Meignan, brought in from Lille.

Marco Sportiello made 199 Serie A appearances for Frosinone, Fiorentina and Atalanta.

In the previous season, Sportiello played 15 matches in the Italian championship.
