Simona Halep dropped to 50th place in the WTA ranking

Simona, who is awaiting a hearing at the end of this month, lost 110 points in the world ranking.

The only Romanian in the WTA Top 300 to move up in the rankings is Sorana Kirstia, who was eliminated in the Round of 16 in Birmingham (after being defeated by Ana Bohdan in the first round).
