Romanian cyclist Vlad Dascalu became the European cross-country champion at the European Championships in Krakow.
He broke away on the final lap of the race and won the gold medal, finishing the race in one hour, 19 minutes, 41 seconds.
Vlad Daskala was followed in the standings by the Swiss Lars Joseph Forster, who reached the distance of 14 seconds, and the Italian Luca Braidot, who finished in 19 seconds.
Ede Molnar finished 56th with a time of 12 minutes and 24 seconds, while Józef Attila Malnási finished with one lap and Roberto Dumitru Burta two laps behind.
