Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said on Saturday that “Russia’s weakness is obvious” and that the longer Moscow keeps its troops and mercenaries in Ukraine, the more chaos it will invite home, Reuters reported.

He made these statements on Twitter in the context of how, on Saturday, the head of the “Wagner” PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin rebelled against the Russian army.

“Russia’s weakness is obvious. Complete weakness,” Zelensky wrote.

“And the longer Russia keeps its troops and mercenaries on our land, the more chaos, pain and problems it will have later.”

Zelensky claims that Putin destroyed himself when he decided to send his troops into Ukraine.

“He despises the people and throws hundreds of thousands of people into the war in order to barricade himself in the Moscow region with those whom he himself armed. For a long time, Russia used propaganda to mask the weakness and stupidity of its government. And now there is such chaos that no lie can hide it. And all this is thanks to one person, who scares again and again with the year 1917, although he is unable to achieve anything other than this.

“All our commanders, all our soldiers know what they have to do. Glory to Ukraine!” Zelensky concluded his address.
