Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said on Saturday that his forces were ready to help crush the rebellion of Wagner mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin.

According to The Guardian, he said he would use tough methods if necessary.

Kadyrov called Prigozhin’s behavior a “knife in the back” and asked the Russian military not to succumb to any “provocations”.

The boss of Wagner’s mercenaries opposes the military leadership in Moscow and announces that he has taken control of all Russian military facilities in Rostov-on-Don.
