An ad posted on the Russian social network VKontakte shows that a mercenary group is looking for video game enthusiasts to become drone pilots, Sky News reports.

The ideal candidate should be between the ages of 21 and 35, in good physical shape, have experience playing computer flight simulators and be used to “sitting for hours at a game”.

He added that combat experience is not required, and Wagner employees are guaranteed training from qualified instructors, health and life insurance, modern equipment and regular pay.

“I have 20 years of experience in Call of Duty. Do you accept me?” one person commented on the ad.

Wagner’s recruiter wrote: “You do realize this isn’t a game? You will fight.”

Another said he has over 7,000 hours of computer flight simulation experience but is 42 years old.

Wagner responded by telling him that he could still qualify to fly quadcopters as a member of the close combat unit.
