Audi: high charging capacity
This new Audi Charging Hub stands out from other fast charging stations in that it does not require additional medium voltage infrastructure: its energy is supplied by means of “charging cubes”, modular containers containing recovered lithium-ion batteries, which is the result of reworking cars developed by Audi. Intelligent and dynamic load management developed by Audi ensures a efficient use of the existing electrical infrastructure.
The Salzburg Audi fast charging center offers four charging points with a capacity of 320 kW, with constant power, even if they are all used at the same time, thanks to the buffer drive. Customers can pay by credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and the station has open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In addition, this charging station will not be reserved for Audi drivers only: electric vehicles of all makes equipped with Combined CCS charging port, you can charge there. The only difference is that Audi customers will be able to book your time in advance and top up without waiting by making an appointment in the myAudi app.
Audi: guaranteed availability
When developing its charging center, Audi thought aboutaccessibility for wheelchair users, with enough space to move around your car. The payment terminals can be moved with the push of a button to place them at a wheelchair-friendly height.
Loading is also easier with cars equipped with this feature Plug&Charge : the vehicle exchanges payment information directly with the charging station, freeing the user from the authentication or payment procedure.
In addition, the charging cables are mounted on an innovative swivel bracket that allows you to move the charging socket effortlessly in any direction. In this way, the user can reach the charging port more easily, regardless of the configuration of his car.
