The first three matches of the European Under-21 Football Championship took place on Wednesday. Ukraine beat Croatia to top Romania’s group, while Georgia surprisingly beat Portugal.

Ukraine – Croatia 2-0, in group B of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship

The youth national team of Ukraine defeated Croatia in the game at the Juleshti stadium.

Oleksiy Kashchuk opened the scoring in the 19th minute, and in the 48th, Shakhtar Donetsk forward Danylo Sikan added the score.

After this result, Ukraine is the first leader of Group B, which also includes Romania and Spain, who meet at 21:45.
