Police in the city of Neamts launched an investigation after a 39-year-old woman and her three children, the youngest of whom was 10, arrived at the hospital after eating the jelly. The local press writes that an acquaintance of the family brought the jelly from Ireland and it contains cannabis.

On Monday, Nemtsia police said that the incident took place in Dulcesti area on Saturday, the police received a 112 call that four people were admitted to a hospital in Roman, they were brought in sick.

“As a result of the checks carried out by the police, it was found that on June 17, around 12:00, a 39-year-old woman together with three children aged 10 to 19 allegedly consumed a large amount of jelly made on the street. of the country, later showed a bad condition and was transported to the medical unit in the municipality of Roman. In this case, the police are continuing the investigation of the crime of intentional infliction of bodily harm,” said Inspector Ramona Cifu from IPJ Neamț, as quoted by ziarpiatraneamt.ro.

According to the Neamt County Emergency Service, the woman and her three children – a 10-year-old boy and two girls aged 16 and 19 – allegedly had “cannabis intoxication,” Știrineamț.ro and tvneamt.ro reported. .

The representatives of the Rome hospital say that at the time of admission to the nursing unit, the four were conscious, but had tachycardia, nausea and vomiting: “According to the patients, they used a jelly that included cannabis.”

The 10-year-old child was transferred from the hospital in Romana to the hospital of St. Mary in Iasi. All four were discharged on Monday.
