Kateryna Aleksandrova (26 WTA) won the WTA ‘s-Hertogenbosch (Netherlands) trophy, defeating top favorite Veronika Kudermetova (14 WTA) in the final with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (3).

Kateryna Aleksandrova managed to defend her won trophy in 2022 after the final, which lasted almost three hours.

The main favorite of the tournament, Kudermetova dominated the first set and won after several mistakes by Aleksandrova.

The second set followed the exact opposite scenario and the score was identical but in favor of the player ranked 26th in the world.

The decisive game was evenly matched on counterattacks and reached a tie-break, where the reigning champion took advantage of Kudermetova’s three lost serves and won 7-3.
