Dugin is suspected of genocide and violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“(Olexander Dugin) is one of the key ideologues of the aggressive policy of the Russian Federation and the genocide of the Ukrainian people,” the SBU writes.

“In his numerous speeches and printed publications, he denied the existence of Ukraine as a sovereign country for more than 10 years and called for its capture by Russian troops.”

The SBU noted that Dugin was one of the first Russian public figures to publicly support the occupation of Ukraine and justify the war crimes committed on its territory since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Since the suspect lives in Russia, the SBU “takes comprehensive measures to bring him to justice.”

The Prosecutor General’s Office reported that since May 2022, the propagandist had been creating and distributing publications calling for the “liberation” of all of Ukraine, not just Kherson and Donbass, on the VKontakte Russian social network banned in Ukraine. He also called on the “liberated” Russia and Ukraine to create “a new state, a real empire, with a mission and spirit, an Orthodox kingdom.” In addition, Dugin contributed to the escalation of the war.

In addition, the suspect distributed publications with calls to the latter to destroy the enemy – Ukraine and its inhabitants, to launch rocket attacks on the cities of Ukraine, especially on the center of Kyiv, “Ukrainian Pravda” notes.

It will be recalled that the philosopher Oleksandr Dugin, in his first speech after the funeral of Daria Dugina’s daughter, said that Russia is opposing the devil in Ukraine, while it is fighting on the side of Archangel Michael.

In November 2022, Meduza wrote that until recently, the Russian president was only superficially familiar with the views of the one dubbed Putin’s ideologue, but everything changed after the murder of Dugin’s daughter Daria at the end of August 2022.

Oleksandr Dugin is a Eurasian philosopher, political scientist, one of the most outstanding ideologists of the “Russian world”. Since the beginning of the 2000s, he has supported the idea of creating a Eurasian Union, which should include all the countries of the former USSR. One of his main theories is built around the confrontation between Russia and the “collective West”. Many thinkers accuse Dugin of fascist views.
