The Rapid continue to build momentum ahead of next season and announced their fourth transfer of the summer on Tuesday, the player becoming the second player to arrive from rival FCSB.
Julian Cristea has signed for Rapid after parting ways with FCSB
If last summer CFR Cluj was the main supplier of players for Rapid, Kostake, Stefan and Dugandzic, who arrived in Julesti, now the Rapidists have turned to the players of rival FCSB.
Julian Cristea has signed a two-year deal with the Adrian Mutu-coached side and was unveiled on Tuesday.
“I am glad that I have chosen this traditional club of the country and I hope that we can perform together. I am proud to have received this offer. I come from a rival, but now I want to give everything for Rapid.
There is a special atmosphere in Giulesti, a very pleasant crowd that makes your hair stand on end,” Julian Kristja told the club’s official website.
Cristia, who is coached by Gaz Metan Medias, has been playing for FCSB since 2019 and has made four appearances for the Romanian national team.
This summer, Rapid also transferred Omar El-Sawi (Chikserada), Rezvan Oaide (FCSB) and Christopher Brown (CFR Cluj).
