Recall campaigns are a very common procedure in the industry, and this very often applies to the car. But what exactly is it? In fact, everything is quite simple. These campaigns consist of reaching out to customers with one or more models that have a serious and large-scale problem. And, unfortunately, no brand is spared, from the most affordable, like Dacia, to the most prestigious. We even remember it Ferrari had to use it a few months ago due to a braking issue. A problem that, thankfully, has been resolved.

A big campaign
Today, it is the turn of a completely different manufacturer to launch a large-scale recall campaign. This is Ford, which has already had problems a little while ago, and which is now forced to recall a model that, fortunately, is not one of the most common in its range. And for good reason, this is the Tourneo Connect, an SUV that competes with the Citroën Berlingo and others Volkswagen Caddy. But what is the concern? Yes, some copies leaving the factory between March 3 and July 7, 2022, have a failure in the suspension due to inappropriate parts.
Repair ahead
Indeed, the lower arms don’t really respond brand characteristics. Some parts may break, which may endanger the safety of passengers. At the moment, Ford does not provide details on the number of affected units in Europe, nor on the duration of the intervention. However, it will probably take several hours. But rest assured, obviously the procedure will be entirely at the expense of the American firm, and then you will have nothing to pay if you are concerned.
