Theory: Mandate of Piraeus

New Democracy was outraged by the mistake of Spyros Pnevmatikos, who did nothing to suggest screening patients, in particular cancer patients, in the logic of “cost-benefit ratio”. Shortly thereafter, Piraeus announced – which he does not usually do – that party secretary Pavlos Marinakis called the Evia candidate and asked him to issue a corrective statement, and that was it. However, the hem of the Spyros Pneumatikos (what prompted him to withdraw from the election battle today) prompted Piraeus, and especially Mr. Schertsos, yesterday at the meeting which he had with all the candidates, to send the signal to stop improvising and be content with … the party line. “After all, there are only two weeks left,” as said at the end of the zoom.

Fear of servants

Many of the current government ministers are at a loss, as they fear that some serious issue will “explode” during their short tenure. Needless to say, the person who is arguably the most feared of all is Evangelos Tournas of Civil Protection as we have entered a period of firefighting, and indeed with quite a few Beauforts. On the positive side, the acting minister is a former… normal deputy minister, so he knows the subject well.

They continue…

It is true that some former ministers have not realized that they are no longer ministers. I find out, for example, that some people take … ordinary phone calls to ministries and intervene, which is logically commented negatively in the administrative pyramid. At the same time, some others are doing it publicly, continuing to post about their old topic as if it’s just a break and they’ll be back in a few days. Something, of course, which, except for a few cases, is not the case, as there will be radical changes in the new cabinet.

They see a finger

Interestingly, a new conspiracy theory is thriving in SYRIZA circles: N.D. and “the system” are those who promote… Zoe Constantinopooulou and Freedom Sailing march towards Parliament. The opinion that has also been expressed publicly is, of course, a very simplistic analysis that does not answer why Constantinople rises, but why SYRIZA sinks so low.
