
Republican Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy tweeted Thursday that America is having a “rainy day” and pledged his support for the former president. As expected, the shots against the American government were fired by Trump himself.

He did not provide any evidence for this claim, but a Reuters source confirmed the information, explaining that Mr. Trump faces seven charges of illegal possession of classified documents and obstruction of justice.
In a video he later uploaded to the platform, the mogul declared his “innocence”.
In August 2022, federal police seized about 13,000 documents from Mr. Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach, Florida. About 100 were classified, although his lawyer assured him that all the secrets had already been returned.
The former president justified his withholding of the documents by declassifying them while he was still in office. He did not provide evidence of this, his lawyers did not make such statements.
