The Saudis from Al-Ittihad dealt a real blow to their image after handing over the Golden Ball to Karim Benzema. However, the club did not stop at the former Real Madrid striker, but convinced another superstar to sign a contract.

Football in Saudi Arabia is getting more interesting every year thanks to the class of footballers who have made the switch in recent times.

After Al-Nassr convinced Cristiano Ronaldo to sign, Al-Hilal unsuccessfully pushed for Lionel Messi.

Last season’s champions, Al Ittihad, have shown that they are not going down on their rivals after the transfer of Karim Benzema from Real Madrid.

According to French media, midfielder N’Golo Kante, the 2018 world champion as part of the French national team, will also arrive in Saudi Arabia along with Benzema.

After the end of the contract with “Chelsea”, Kante has already signed a contract for three seasons with “Al Ittihad”, writes L’Equipe.

The 32-year-old midfielder has played very little this season after an injury forced him to miss the World Cup in Qatar.

After seven seasons in London, Kante managed to win the league with Chelsea in 2017 and the Champions League in 2021.
