The supply of hot water will be stopped for 565 quarters in sectors 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 of the capital in connection with the work on the primary heating network, the KP “Termoenergetika” reported on Wednesday.

The following interventions will be made:

• IN Sector 1 the works will be performed on the Griviţa highway pipeline – DN 700 mm, in the areas of: Iancu de Hunedoara, Dorobanti, Floreasca, Nicolae Caramfil. During this period, several works will be performed at the same time: replacement of valves with a diameter of 700 mm in the area of ​​Lake Floreaska; works to replace approximately 900 meters of pre-insulated pipe DN 600 mm will continue in the area of ​​Stockholm, Aksinte Urikariul and Kalea Dorobanti streets; work on the replacement of a pipe with a diameter of 600 mm in the area of ​​Pieper road is starting.
• To carry out all these works, the supply of heat carrier for hot water will be stopped until 20:30 on June 20 for approximately 225 blocks. The pipeline in the district was put into operation in 1983, this part of the network worked for 40 years.
• IN Sector 2 works are underway on the Magistrala 2 Sud pipeline – DN 700 mm, in the area of ​​Şosela Ştefan cel Mare. For approximately 130 blocks, the supply of heat carrier for hot water will be stopped until June 20 at 11:30 p.m. The pipeline in the area was put into operation in 1974, this section of the network worked for almost 50 years. Access for repair work will be through gallery hatches, without any other openings. Also, approximately 100 meters of pipe with a diameter of 700 mm will be replaced in the area of ​​Lizeanu and Moara louis Assan.
• IN Sector 3, work is underway on the pipeline of the Second Southern Main – DN 500 mm, in the area of ​​Drumul Murgului. For approximately 50 blocks of this sector, until 11:30 p.m. on June 9, the heating agent for hot water will be cut off. The year of commissioning of the gas pipeline in the district is 1968, this section of the network has been in operation for 55 years. As part of these works, access for repair work will be carried out through hatches in the gallery, without any other excavation.
• IN Sector 4works are underway on the Bercheni highway pipeline – DN 500 mm, in the Nice Vasile area, where several meters of pipe will be replaced, and on Tudora Gochiu street, where approximately 70 meters of pipe with a diameter of 168 mm will be replaced. Approximately 95 blocks of this sector will be cut off from the heating agent for hot water until 11:30 p.m. on June 9. The pipeline in this area was put into operation in 1987, this section of the network has been in operation for more than 35 years.
• IN Sector 6work is underway on the Hryvitz highway pipeline – DN 600 mm, in the area of ​​Nikolai Filimon Street. Approximately 65 blocks of this sector will be cut off from the heating agent for hot water until 11:30 p.m. on June 9. The gas pipeline was commissioned in 1961, this section of the network has been in operation for over 60 years. At this construction site, the 600 mm diameter rebar at the intersection of Şosela Virtuții with Bulevardul Constructorilor will be replaced, and the rest of the work will be done without earthworks at the gallery entrances.
