Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, 13th in line to the British throne, was born on May 30 and weighed 3.2 kilograms, the palace said in a statement.

Eugenia, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, posted photos of the newborn on Instagram, with one showing the baby lying in a cot with his head covered by a blue and white hat.

The boy was named after his great-great-grandfather George, his grandfather George and Eugenia’s grandfather Ronald, the post said.

“Augie is already excited to be a big brother,” Eugenia wrote in the post, which also included a photo of the baby’s brother, August Brooksbank, placing his hand on Ernest George Ronny’s head.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank were married in October 2018 at Windsor Castle. In February 2021, their first son August was born.
