
A meeting on migrant trafficking in the Evros Islands was convened today by the Prime Minister, Ioannis Sharmasin Maxim’s palace.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State Vassilios Skouris, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vassilios Kaskarelis, Minister for the Protection of Citizens Charalambos Lalouzis, Minister of Migration Policy and Asylum Daniel Esdras, Head of the National Security Agency General Konstantinos Floros, as well as senior officials of the Administration.
The meeting takes place after release of 91 migrants in Evros river yesterday SundayJune 4, among which were women and children.
It is noted that tomorrow, Tuesday, June 6 Acting Minister for the Protection of Citizens, Mr. Lalouzi, moves to Evros.
