Gabriela Ruse was eliminated in the doubles round of 1/8 finals of Roland Garros

They were defeated by the second favorites of the Paris tournament, Americans Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula, 6(4)-7, 6-4, 6-2.

The game lasted two hours and 33 minutes.

In the quarters, Gauff and Pegula will meet Anna Bondar (Hungary) and Gret Minnen (Belgium).

The Roland Garros tournament takes place from May 28 to June 11, has a total prize pool of 49.6 million euros, and is the 127th tournament. Iga Sviatek and Rafael Nadal (14-time winner in Paris) became the champions of the title.

In the women’s doubles, Karolin Garcia and Kristina Mladenovych became the title champions.
