Real Madrid will need important transfers to be able to cope on all fronts next season. Los Blancos are unsure whether Benzema will stay at the Santiago Bernabeu or not, given the impressive offers he has from Saudi Arabia.

Kai Havertz is wanted by Real Madrid

Real Madrid will need reinforcements to make this season one to remember.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side only won the Copa del Rey and decisively lost the La Liga title to rivals Barcelona.

At the same time, the Madrid team could not repeat the results of 2022 and reach the finals of the UEFA Champions League, confidently being eliminated in the semifinals by Manchester City (5:1 on aggregate).

Real Madrid are also currently emotional about Al Ittihad’s Karim Benzema, who is increasingly wanted in Saudi Arabia.

However, Madrid are closing in on a deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jude Bellingham and are now focusing on another big transfer targeting the Premier League international.

In particular, Real Madrid are also interested in bringing Kai Havertz to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Transferred to Chelsea for €80 million from Bayer Leverkusen, Havertz is one of the most important players in the team at Stamford Bridge.

The German was instrumental in Chelsea’s victory in the 2021 UEFA Champions League final when he scored the only goal against Manchester City.

Fabrizio Romano writes that “Chelsea” is ready to negotiate with Kai Havertz, but only in case of a permanent transfer.

At the age of 23, Havertz has made 139 appearances, scoring 32 goals and providing 15 assists for Chelsea and is currently valued at €60m according to Transfermarkt.
