Google: Gmail is getting faster thanks to artificial intelligence

According to Google.

The company is currently testing its AI tools and making them available to a limited number of users of Workspace, the platform that includes Gmail.

On Friday, the company announced an AI update for Gmail: Over the next 15 days, users will see “better results” when they search in their inbox. In a blog post, Google referred to the feature as a “user request” and said it would be available to all account holders and customers soon.

What’s more, some time ago, Google announced that artificial intelligence could now make it easier for users to compose emails through the Gmail app. The company is integrating so-called “creative” AI into Gmail to help rapidly expand “Help Me Write” emails.

“Just type in what you want, click create, and a full draft will appear,” said Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

Google has more than 3 billion Workspace users, from simple consumers of the free version to companies that pay for app subscriptions.
