CFR Cluj narrowly cleared the barrier to access the next season of European Cups, after defeating “Krajova 1948” after extra time, a team with two relegated players.

The ex-champion of Romania for the last five seasons missed out on the title this year and was also close to being left out of the European Cups.

In the last match on the bench of “Krajova 1948”, coach Nicolo Napoli boldly prepared the game, and Olten did not easily concede to “Cluj”.

After the first half on counterattacks, but without many scoring opportunities, the second half brought unexpected help to Dan Petrescu’s wards.
