The incident happened this Wednesday in a plane flying on the Krasnoyarsk-Moscow route.

First, the man lit a cigarette in the toilet, but the smoke detectors did not work. But the crew members smelled smoke. They warned the business class passenger, who reacted aggressively.

After that, the Russian man stole a bottle of cognac from the stewardess’s cart, which he secretly drank in the same toilet, the police report said.

“Then he began to abuse business class passengers, interfered with the work of flight attendants, tried to smoke and fight with security guards,” the same report said.

Flight attendants reported the incident to the aircraft commander, who decided to immobilize the man. Several passengers helped the flight attendants to tie up the man.

He spent the rest of the flight taped and plastic handcuffed on the floor near the galley. He was detained by the police after the plane landed in Moscow.
