The Freedom for Russia Legion published two videos on Thursday showing geolocating explosions CNN in the Belgorod region on the border with Russia, claiming to have hit military targets.
A group of anti-Putin activists said that the video shows “the detonation of the enemy’s ammunition and mortar after a well-aimed artillery strike on them.” This is a 2C4 “Tulip” mortar and ammunition for it.

CNN has geolocation video of the explosion in the Shebekino district of Belgorod, but cannot confirm the claim of a successful strike.
The second video published by the Legion shows the destruction of the Grad rocket launcher.

“Together with my brothers from RVC [Corpul Voluntarilor Ruși] we continue to demilitarize Putin’s army,” Russian guerrillas said in a statement, using the term (demilitarization) the Kremlin used to justify the invasion of Ukraine.
The video shows smoke, but it is unclear whether Russian military equipment was damaged.
The Russian Freedom Legion said Thursday it was near the Russian border, while the Russian Volunteer Corps claimed it was “fighting on Russian territory.”
Russia claims that three attacks were prevented
Russia said on Thursday it had repelled an attempted incursion along its border with Ukraine as heavy shelling prompted a partial evacuation of civilians from the area.
Ahead of an expected Ukrainian counteroffensive in the 15-month-old war, Russia has come under repeated attacks in recent days, with a major cross-border incursion and earlier this week the largest drone attack on Moscow.
Settlements in Russia’s Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, were briefly captured by pro-Ukrainian forces last week during an invasion.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said it repelled three cross-border attacks near the town of Shebekino on Thursday and accused Ukraine of using what it said were “terrorist groups” to carry out attempts to attack Russian civilians.
Ukraine says that the invasion of Belgorod has nothing to do with its army and is led by Russian volunteers.
“The selfless actions of Russian servicemen repelled three attacks by Ukrainian terrorist formations,” the Russian ministry said. “Violations of the state border are not allowed.”
