Katherine Heigl And Helen Pompeo reunite 13 years after the former left the popular American television series Medicine.Grey’s Anatomy“.

The two actors will be interviewing each other on the next season of Variety’s Actors About Actors. It’s a reunion that no Grey’s Anatomy fan might have expected. According to reports, Heigl, who played Dr. Izzy Stevens, left due to on-set clashes that divided audiences. Pompeo left the lead role of Meredith Gray a few months earlier and after 19 seasons.

Although behind-the-scenes drama began to surface in 2010 when Heigl criticized working conditions and writing at the time, Pompeo defended her co-star in April 2022 during the release of her Tell Me podcast.

During a 2009 appearance on David Letterman’s The Late Show with David Letterman, Heigl accused the medical series of forcing actors to work 17-hour days, which she called “cruel and mean”.

“I remember Katherine talking on the TV show about the crazy hours we worked. And he was 100% right. If she said it today, she would be a hero,” Pompeo said.
