Tineretului Park’s main avenue bridge, which is in a state of disrepair, will be closed from Monday as restoration work begins, the Metropolitan Buildings Trust announced on Saturday.

How much does the reconstruction of the main bridge in Tineretului Park cost

In September 2022, the General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest (CGMB) approved the updated technical and economic indicators for the rehabilitation of the bridge in Tineretului Park, the total cost of the works is 5.8 million lei and the completion period is 12 months. .

Mayor-General Nikushor Dan clarified at the time that the bridge, for which major repairs are proposed, is located on the main avenue of Tineretului Park and consists of two identical parallel structures that cross a lake located inside the park and is intended for the movement of pedestrians and sometimes a car, in emergency situations and for maintenance work, writes Agerpres.

As part of the capital repair, the supporting beams of the metal pedestrian parapets, waterproofing, drainage system of water collected from the road surface, restoration of the stairs, access platform to the multi-functional hall and reorganization of the street were carried out. The location of the lighting poles will be made in the places of the paths.
