Having reached the 508th place in the WTA hierarchy, Elina Svitolina won the tournament in Strasbourg.

In the last act of the competition, the most decorated Ukrainian defeated the Russian Anna Blinkova (66 WTA).

Svitolina needed two sets to defeat the Russian, 6-2, 6-3, and the match finished in one hour and 34 minutes.

This is the first tournament that Elina Svitolina has won since her return to the WTA, and the second time she has won in Strasbourg since her triumph in 2020.

Thanks to this success, the Ukrainian rises to the 191st place in the WTA Live ranking, and the Russian reaches the 56th.
