The crew consisting of Mădălina Bereș, Maria Tivodariu, Magdalena Rusu and Amalia Bereș showed a time of 6:22.69 (European record).
Great Britain (6:23.72) and the Netherlands (6:27.10) were followed by the tricolors in the final ranking, writes Agerpres.
Romania qualified nine crews for the A final in Bled, the last to reach the final was the men’s academy duo of Marius Kozmiuk and Sergiu Bejan, who finished second in Saturday’s semi-final.
In the A/B2 Men’s Double Rowing Semi-Final, the crew of Florin Arteni and Cipriano Tudose finished the race in 4th place and will compete in the B Final.
The rowing foursome of Ioana-Medalina Morošan, Andrada-Maria Morošanu, Cristina Druge and Patricia Sires took first place in Saturday’s B final and thus placed 7th overall.
