Days after Russian troops fighting the Putin regime carried out a cross-border raid that sparked panic in the Belgorod region, Russia’s Freedom Legion released a video purportedly summarizing the two-day incursion, indicating that while they were outnumbered, Russian soldiers of the regular army were hiding in fear in the houses of local residents, behind trees and behind fences.
According to the Legion, this video would show the cowardice and unprofessionalism of Putin’s forces and how allies of the Ukrainian forces managed to destroy Russian military equipment.
“Fighters of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation outnumbered, acting on familiar territory, panicked and hid in forest plantations and behind fences. The video shows footage of a motorized rifle company hiding in the abandoned houses of residents. They wanted to play hide and seek, but our gunners play better. There are also destroyed and damaged cars that will no longer drive on Russian roads to destroy Ukrainian cities. The show has just begun,” reads the Legion’s post on Twitter next to the video summarizing the operation in Belgorod.

In fact, a video appeared on social networks showing that the Russian troops out of desperation also sent Su-34 attack aircraft against the troops who raided the Belgorod region on the border with Ukraine. However, the bombers did not hit the target.
The footage shows Russian warplanes flying at very low altitudes to drop their bombs, the fact that they do not appear to have hit their target highlights how difficult it is to use unguided munitions at such altitudes in combat.
Calls for action by the Russian governors on the border with Ukraine testify to desperation.
Russian governors are calling for the arming of local self-defense units or even the creation of a new military command structure at the border.
