Douglas Santos was arrested after several shots were fired

The Brazilian signed for Barcelona in 2014 after the club paid €4m for his move to Sao Paulo. In two years, Desile collected only eight official games for the Spaniards, writes Marca.

Santos took a few shots in the parking lot of the Clubes Esportivos Sul marina after a boat ride on Lake Paranoa.

The gun, registered to his mother’s name, was dumped in the woods and has not yet been recovered by police, but he confessed to the crime during questioning.

Douglas Santos, 32, is currently out of contract after his spell at Besiktas ended last year.

During his career, the Brazilian also played for Sao Paulo, Sporting Gijon, Benfica and Sivasspor.
