Urban rodeos are a real scourge, and unfortunately, no city is spared. Although most of them take place in urban areas, they are often visited by more rural towns. In any case, it causes irritation of local residents, but not only. Because this practice is not only annoying and noisy, but also extremely dangerous. Indeed, the number of serious and sometimes fatal accidents that have occurred during rodeos is countless. This practice applies to both cars and motorcycles, although the latter are more commonly used.

A strong method
It even happens that they are simply stolen, and in most cases they are not homologated for driving on the road. This adds even more danger to an already dangerous practice. It will be recalled that a few weeks ago, several people staged a rodeo in the shopping center, right in the middle of the public. Although it is difficult to deal with this phenomenon, the state authorities are still trying to act. Thus, the prefecture of Val d’Oise took a strong and effective decision. In fact, she decided destroy at least 89 motorcycles participation in the rodeo.
Disputed decision
While many welcome this method, others, on the other hand, are surprised. Was this destruction really necessary? Because if there were no motorcycles not homologated for roads, they work and can be used in the scheme. They could be used, for example, for educational purposes. Not to mention that all this is not necessarily very ecological. But the prefect defends himself by saying that ” destruction of equipment […] issued by a court decision, in particular, when the vehicle is recognized as not allowed to drive on public roads“.
