For his defeat SYRIZA commented that he says it’s “nothing more, nothing less than that it’s the fault of others. That’s what we called them before the elections: unarmed politics, nonsense, blurring of strategic goals, adventurism as a political compass. This is what characterized SYRIZA.”
According to him, his goal is “to change the political paradigm through an optimistic, positive, reformist program to a truly progressive alternative in our country. This is our mission: on the way to the next elections, to further open our invitation to all democratic citizens to a strong Movement for Change PASOK, a strong Democratic Party.”
