Moscow claims to have killed more than 70 Ukrainian nationalists who stormed the Belgorod region

The Russian Defense Ministry in a statement claims that the saboteurs who invaded the Belgorod region yesterday were blocked and destroyed, and the rest were pushed back to the territory of Ukraine until they were completely destroyed.

At the next briefing, the Ministry of Defense stated that more than 70 Ukrainian fighters were killed.

“During the anti-terrorist operation, aviation and artillery, as well as units of the State Border Guard of the Western Military Command, blocked and destroyed the nationalists,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

“The remaining nationalists were pushed back to the territory of Ukraine, where they continued to be shelled until they were completely destroyed. More than 70 Ukrainian terrorists, four armored combat vehicles and five trucks were destroyed,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
