Chinese Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui will visit Russia on May 26, according to the Russian state news agency TASS.
Li Hui, former Chinese ambassador to Moscow, is touring European countries. According to Beijing, the Chinese envoy was instructed to discuss a “political settlement” of the war in Ukraine during his visit.
The Chinese official visited Kyiv and Poland last week, and is expected to travel to France and Germany before arriving in Russia.
