FCSB missed the chance to end 8 years without a title and lost the decider against Farul Constanța, although the team led 2-0 thanks to goals from Adrian Shute and Andrea Compagno. The financier of the Red-Blues made the final decision regarding Dejan Sorescu.

Dejan Sorescu will return to Rakov Czestokhovskyi

Dejan Sorescu, on loan until the end of this season from Rakov Czestochowa, has failed to impress Gigi Bekali and the 25-year-old will return to the Poland group with whom he also won the title this season.

FCSB would have to pay a fee of €950,000 to transfer Soresca permanently, but financier Gigi Becali would only want him to stay on terms that would see him loan the Romanian out again.

The manager of the red and blues confirmed to Fanatik that Sorescu will return to Rakov and that one of the reasons will be a poor performance in the decisive match against Farul Constanta.

“Sorescu is free, ready. What to do with Sorescu? I thank him for what he did, but I don’t thank him. Well, what was Borza doing there… I said that Kordeya would come in and sit next to Borza. Borza did what he wanted there.

It is clear that Sorescu is not a defender, I understood that he is not a defender. I understood that Sorescu helped us, if they want to keep him on loan, we will take him.” Gigi Bekali said.
