Volodymyr Solovyov, one of Russia’s most famous propagandists, on Sunday published a photo of a large rally in the center of Chisinau in support of the European path of the Republic of Moldova, suggesting that the crowd in the photo was taking part in the protest. against President Maia Sandu in Gagauzia, a semi-autonomous region led by the ȚOR party.
- “An anti-government rally is underway in the capital of Gagauzia, Comrat. People do not agree with President Sandu’s pro-European course and demand a referendum to determine it.

Also on Sunday, representatives of the “ȘOR” Political Party organized counter-demonstrations of the “European Moldova” National Assembly in the cities of Orhei, Bielce and Comrat, reports Ziarul de Gardă.
The participants of these demonstrations demanded “the organization of a referendum on the external vector of the Republic of Moldova.”
However, there were significantly fewer participants than those who came to the pro-European rally in Chisinau.
