The authorities of Komarnik in Prague announced on Sunday afternoon that three local police officers will be guarding the local school from Monday. This measure was taken after a bear appeared repeatedly in the district where the educational institution is located, News.ro reports.

“In connection with the appearance of a bear near the school unit in Vatra Sat, starting tomorrow, May 22, 2023, from 06:00 in the morning until the end of classes and when the last child leaves the school, three representatives of the local police will be patrolling. daily in the yard of school #1. 2 and around it, as well as on st. needs!”, Komarnik City Hall announced on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.

Over the past few hours, authorities have issued several Ro-Alerts warning the public about the presence of wild animals in Komarnik. Such messages were received both on Saturday and on Sunday.
