“I, Ihor Volodymyrovych Kazantsev, was captured because of my stupidity. The boys and I sat and drank. I drank three liters of cognac,” says a Russian soldier captured by Ukraine in the video.

“I decided to give my diet to a bottle of alcohol. But no one told me where the position is, if you wave your hand in one direction – in one direction, if in another direction – in another direction,” says the Russian.

“I looked for my fellow soldiers and did not find them. There was no one there. I turned and saw the boys. They said to come closer. I was happy, I thought about asking them… But they are actually enemies. I was told to come closer, that’s how I got captured,” the Russian military officer also said in a video posted on Twitter by the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anton Herashchenko.
