Russia: Putin’s underground bunker in the Black Sea

Russian President Vladimir Putin has taken action for … any eventuality by building an underground shelter with amenities but strict security standards under his country house on the Black Sea.

As it became known to a number of Western media, including the British newspaper Daily Telegraph, under the luxurious summer residence of Vl. Putin in southern Russia hides a massive cement bunker with many meters of tunnels, storage facilities and energy and water infrastructure for sheltered living for several weeks.

The Gelendzhik Palace in southern Russia’s Krasnodar Territory became widely known after the revelations of now-imprisoned dissident politician Alexei Navalny. This is a luxurious mansion, the cost of which is estimated at 1 billion dollars. It has a fully equipped gym, a hockey rink, a church, and an “entertainment room” with pole dancing poles.

The area is under round-the-clock surveillance by the Federal Security and Intelligence Service (FSB), and there is not only a no-fly zone, but also a no-fly zone.

These were already known. It has now emerged that under this earthly luxury lies an underground structure designed to protect Russia’s nearly quarter-century leader in case of danger.

According to US media revelations, which are also being republished in Europe and are based on published plans, See Putin ordered the construction of a bunker with three emergency exits, multiple tunnels and blast-proof walls.

Reinforced tunnels made of very thick concrete have a supply of water and fresh air and allow you to stay in them even for months, according to experts quoted by the authoritative Business Insider. The plans, which were published by Metrosteel, who built the shelter (as a sample of their work), still provide for electricity, sewerage and full fiber optic communications.

The two tunnels are 40 and 60 meters long and 6 meters wide, and are surrounded by walls about 40 centimeters thick, according to the plans of the construction company.

There is also an elevator leading up to 50 meters from the ground for direct access to the shelter, as well as access to the sea for a quick getaway if needed, and even with a conveyor belt so you don’t have to go a long way.

Tadeusz Gabryzewski, an engineer specializing in defense construction, noted that “these tunnels have everything for safety: there is a fire extinguishing system, water, drainage, etc. They are intended for those who want to survive or escape. But this is not just an emergency exit, this is a complete emergency replacement of the palace complex.”

Recall that Vladimir Putin is on the international wanted list on charges of forcibly removing children from Ukraine.
